At the dawn of possibilities
MEZEL: a new voice supported by The Colors Vanguard
At The Colors, we believe that a new generation of designers is redefining beauty. A beauty that is more grounded, more authentic, more demanding.
We are proud to collaborate with Sophia Gyé-Jacquot, founder of MEZEL, a Franco-Moroccan Maison that weaves a sensitive bridge between heritage and modernity.
MEZEL was born out of a deep desire to tell a different, more sincere story of Morocco, far removed from clichés.For Sophia, each creation is a declaration of love to her dual heritage, nourished by French standards and the living traditions of Morocco.
MEZEL offers a contemporary interpretation of ancestral rituals: mint tea shared among initiates, precious ingredients brought to light, the scent of sun-warmed skin.
Beyond emotion, MEZEL embodies an ethical vision of perfumery:
"Right from the launch of the House, I wanted to inscribe this awareness in every stage of creation, without ever turning it into a marketing argument" (Sophia Gyé-Jacquot).
Sophia imagines her fragrances as invisible bridges between worlds and cultures, composed of emblematic accords (watermelon, date, orange blossom, mint tea...) reinterpreted with bold modernity.
Because entrepreneurship in today's beauty industry requires more than talent, Sophia chose to join The Colors Vanguard, our program dedicated to brands with strong cultural and international potential.
"I wanted and needed to surround myself with people who shared my vision and my values, so that together we could carry forward this fundamental movement" (Sophia Gyé-Jacquot).
MEZEL isn't just a house: it's a trail, a voice, a promise for tomorrow.
