The Colors Pavilion

During Paris Perfume Week, The Colors will present a pavilion featuring a selection of perfume houses.

The World of Chris Collins (New York, USA)

World of Chris Collins is a niche perfume house defined by a distinctive style and a flair for storytelling. Based in New York, it offers creations that explore emotions, memory, and cultural references. A consistent signature for clients seeking character, sensuality, and meaning.

Harlem Perfume Co. (New York, USA)

Harlem Perfume Co. translates the legacy of the Harlem Renaissance into narrative, contemporary, and bold fragrances. Founded by Teri Johnson, the brand celebrates art, culture, and heritage through creations inspired by iconic figures and places.

Matteo Parfums (Los Angeles, USA)

Founded by Matthew J. Sánchez, MATTEO PARFUMS explores new frontiers in fine perfumery through a modern, multicultural, and creative approach. The brand offers “clean” and refillable fragrances designed to tell cultural stories.

House of Iyrah (Atlanta, USA)

House of Iyrah is a niche perfume house founded by Samira Mbang, where perfume is conceived as a narrative art form. Rooted in memory and emotion, the brand embraces an inclusive vision and offers a sensory experience that goes beyond the olfactory realm.

Scent of Africa (Accra, Ghana)

Scent of Africa is a Ghana-based perfume house that creates fragrances inspired by African stories and legends. Founded by Tanal Ghandour, it blends modernity and tradition through a distinctively African luxury aesthetic, highlighting iconic raw materials and the expertise of master perfumers.

Maison Berliner (Paris, France)

Founded by Mahamodou Dramé, Maison Berliner celebrates the authenticity of ingredients and the precision of craftsmanship through a signature line of perfumes that is refined and understated. As an independent French house, it creates elegant, long-lasting scents composed by Jean-Michel Duriez.

Yusif House (Accra, Ghana)

Maison Yusif Fragrance is an artisanal brand founded in Ghana by Yusif Meizongo Jnr, the country’s first certified perfumer. It creates fragrances inspired by African rituals, woods, spices, and landscapes, where imperfection becomes a hallmark of authenticity.

Vaniacom (Moroni, Comoros)

Founded by Sitti Djaouharia, Vaniacom is a Comorian producer of organic vanilla and ylang-ylang, committed to sustainability and local expertise. Based in Moroni, the company promotes the Comoros’ natural resources. It established the sector’s first health insurance cooperative. Its raw materials are renowned for their quality and traceable origin.

As part of Paris Perfume Week’s “Hors les murs” program, The Colors is hosting lectures on multicultural perfumery and meet-and-greets with brand founders.

The Colors Conference

Friday, April 10 (9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.):

At the crossroads of cultures and markets, this conference highlights a new landscape in perfumery, where narratives, ingredients, and regions are reshaping the contours of contemporary creation and opening up new avenues for development.

Talks & Cocktails

Friday, April 10 (5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.):

At the intersection of culture, digital technology, and fragrance, these talks explore how platforms, creators, and fragrance houses are shaping how younger generations discover and adopt fragrances.

The talks will be followed by a cocktail reception from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Little Africa Village x The Colors

Saturday, April 11 (3:00–4:00 p.m.):

In partnership with The Colors, Little Africa Village is launching the first niche perfume house dedicated to Afro-Diasporic cultures, from the earth to the finished product.

The public is invited to explore a selection of perfume houses, several of which will be participating in Paris Perfume Week.

A discussion on distribution challenges will feature Kimberly Waters (Muse Experience, Harlem, NYC) and Jacqueline Ngo Mpii (Little Africa Village).
