The Colors speaking at the OECD

The OECD and the United States Department of State are organizing the workshop "Women Entrepreneurs in Global Supply Chains" on the sidelines of the OECD Committee on SMEs and Entrepreneurship meeting.

This workshop will bring together women entrepreneurs, program managers and policymakers to discuss measures and initiatives that have strong potential to increase the participation of women entrepreneurs in global supply chains. The workshop aims to promote awareness and understanding of the barriers to women's participation in global supply chains, including finance, government regulation, education and skills, and discrimination. The discussion will focus on best practices from public and private sector initiatives to support the participation of women-owned businesses in global trade and raise awareness of the tools and resources available to women entrepreneurs to export their products to global markets.

Haweya Mohamed will be a speaker at this workshop.

This workshop is a hybrid event. To attend in person, please contact the OECD Secretariat at CSMEE@mail.oecd.org.
